Best date night for the opera here. Take your own drink because they are so very expensive here. Seats are small and not very plus size or tall people friendly.

They required masks which we liked because it was a sold out ballet! Fun fountain. Not far from public transit. The bathroom line moves quickly. The performance was interesting to say the least!

Great theatre with modern upgraded conveniences like multiple subtitle screens for operas. However, even in the middle of the orchestra, I felt the sound was a bit low. The lighting on the stage was the same. The theatre is huge though. The L.A. Opera production was fantastic nevertheless. The Christmas decorations, dioramas, and opera costumes on display were very nice. Lots of food options for the intermission

Great atmosphere outside at LAOpera! And the opening night was spectacular. Loved the glorious Music and Vocals of St Matthews Passion. Now if they will just add a big horseshoe bar outside where we can sit all spring and summer before the show and all will be good.

A dated but classic 1960's culture venue with immense crystal chandeliers, wide open carpeted staircases, and abundant marble. Also frustratingly limited women's restroom facilities. Inside the concert hall, the acoustics are good and the seats relatively comfortable. The stage area is large, so it makes a fine place to see opera

I go to the Music Center alot with my students for their student matinees and I go each year for the Christmas Eve celebration. It is always a great performance hall. I have work closely with staff at the music center and I have just been a guest. No complaints. They do have parking with a cost, when coming for school field trips and the Xmas celebration we never paid.
