Over 100 vendors sell a wide variety of cuisines from around the world at LA Farmers' Market. What's now an outdoor market started as a place for a few local farmers to sell their produce from their trucks during the Depression. The farmers' market quickly transformed into the massive permanent outdoor market that still stands in the same place. While there are no longer any actual farmers selling produce, the market has retained the original feel by prohibiting big chains, and keeping vendors local. Using our international travel planner, Los Angeles attractions like LA Farmers' Market can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

It is a great location for food and watching a brief of Los Angeles history. Also, it is next to The Grove and you can visit both locations in 1-2 hours.

Been wandering around LA for the past week and this is probably one of my favourite place that I've been. It's gotta variety of foods and unique specialty stores and friendly vendors. It's clean safe for kids to wander and walk around. Parking is free for the first 90 min. You can easily spend hours here. There's no cars so very pedestrian friendly. It's locate next to The Grove outdoor shopping centre, so only steps away from some luxury shopping. Highly recommend spending some time here.

We enjoyed the Farmers Markets. We went during the Christmas holiday which was very festive. The market was full of life as well as people. We ventured into lots of stores and sampled lots food dishes from lots of places. All of the food options were delicious and we had too many to mention. Parking was difficult but we finally got a spot after waiting for several minutes.

Good place for either eating, doing grocery shopping, or getting a souvenir!! They have Ice Cream, Good Reuben Sandwich, and other stuff you might enjoy. They have a Barber Shop for Haircut or Shaving. They have a Pet Store if you want to get something for your pets. They also have a Hot Sauce Store and a Peanut Shop. They have a History Board that tells how The Original Farmers Market came to be and it is now part of the Grove Mall. I usually come here to just check some good food or desserts. So if you have time stop by The Original Farmers Market to either find some place to eat, getting a souvenir for your family or your friends, or just to look around at the Farmers Market.

Beautiful place. Lots of great places to eat including this chicken place below. Absolutely phenomenal. And believe it or not this store actually had Farrah Fawcett cream soda. Fantastic Pizza, Chicago style, Sushi and so many great food choices just overwhelming

Best place to find either domestic delicacies or exotic cuisines. Speaking of shopping, here owns plenty of either popular brands or luxury stores for you to choose from. Small garden in the middle of Original Farmers Markets is cozy for anyone chatting and resting. If you would like to have a interesting tour, you could buy a trolley tickets. Conductors would add kinda humor into introduction.
