Fifty-Third Winery and Vineyard is proud to have a certified “green” tasting room which officially opened in 2011. The building has earned a coveted Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, LEED, Platinum certification.

The architectural design of the tasting room, with two complete walls of glass that extend up for two stories makes the visitor experience that of an “indoor/outdoor” space regardless of the weather. Not only are the construction features “green”, the aesthetics of the design with the surrounding landscape, creates the impression that the wine tasting room is an outgrowth of the vineyards itself, similar to the way that the flavors of our award winning wines express the terroir of the vineyard soils. Some of the features of the tasting room include solar power panels, energy-efficient windows and lighting fixtures, and the use of reclaimed or locally sourced material.

My best friend lives right nest door. Everytime I come to visit, I HAVE to visit since this is such a nice and friendly winery with a great tasting menu. Will be visiting again in early November 2021

We had a wonderful visit here during COVID. The wine is good. The staff are so nice. The patio was a perfect place to spend a few hours. The setting is so serene and calming
