This place is great for an alligator safari! (pictures😉) We drove all over and got lots of pics of gators, turtles and birds! We actually started making the alligators!

Amazing place. Fresh air, wildlife, not many people... A great place to take children- just don't let the gators get them!

After driving for 2 hours to go duck hunting at the Sabine NWR walk-in area on 1-11-2023 I found the entry area gates closed. Have no clue why. With a website like this, it would be greatly appreciated if a simple open/closed box could be checked before people like me travel such a long distance just to turn around and drive back home. Very dissappointed!

Beautiful place to take a drive. Lots of birds and An alligator. Only giving it 4 stars bc it says there is a board walk but we never saw one.

Went to see some wildlife and there were birds everywhere. I saw one alligator but there was a bird standing on its back. Ruined my desire to be outdoors. Im selling all of my hiking and camping equipment now. Worst wildlife refuge ever.
