Loveland Museum/Gallery, Loveland

Despite its location and size this museum provides a deep look into the art and history of the wild west and loveland Colorado specifically. The knowledge and experience of the staff is wonderful, especially if you have children as it is really engaging to have them go over the historical way people lived and mountain men operated. A really delightful experience and a great family or class activity

Excellent hometown museum! Love the current exhibition New York/New York: The Avant-Garde from Mid-Century. Loved the wood block prints in this collection. Thanks! Here are some highlights.

The history of Loveland and most of the museum is free. It's adorable, I love how they layed it out. Huge topographical map upstairs! There's a $7 admissions fee to an art gallery in the same building which is neat. They also have a downstairs for a kids art gallery which was so cute. The lady at the front was very nice (I think her name was Jennifer, but I may be wrong)

Went to see the John Mellencamp exhibit. I still love the Chandler Most

Nice little museum that exhibited the history of Loveland along with work from various artists. We had the opportunity to see the last day of the Michael Friedman photography exhibit as well as the John Mellencamp special art exhibits. The museum was free but the Mellencamp exhibit did come with a cost. Good way to spend an hour or so of your afternoon.
