Once called the Riviera of America, Malibu Pier represents a historical landmark noted for its three-story point break popular with surfers. Only experienced surfers should brave these waves, but visitors will find plenty else to do on the pier. Learn about surf culture at the surf museum, take a boat tour of the coast, or pick up souvenirs from the gift shops. Get onto the water by joining fishing or whale-watching trips. If you do decide to ride the world-famous break, you can rent equipment on site. Malibu Pier is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.

It’s lovely. I can’t say too much for friendliness but I did enjoy my stay. The food was decent and the view is calming and beautiful. Serenity

We visited on a very beautiful morning and it was quiet and the atmosphere was fresh. Clean and well maintained premises. So many surfers were practicing their surfing skills on the amazing waves. It is a great and unique experience to stand on this pier and watch the majestic waves in the ocean. Feels like just staying there and to keep watching the the waves. Pleasant weather. Beautiful experience.

Really clean beach and pier. You should walk all the way to the front to see amazing view. They have cafe on the pier itself and great outdoor indoor seating with amazing views. Quite a few stairs to access the beach. Parking can be tricky - there is 20$ for the parking at the pier lot but you can try and see if you get street parking to avoid 20$. On the parking they also have restrooms.

Amazing place, we stopped by here on our way back to San Francisco. Extremely clean beach and pristine waters. The beach is accessible by the stairs. There’s a flat parking fee of $20 to park by the pier so try finding parking nearby. Restrooms are available.

Free experience. Great to walk your pup and take photos. You can find parking, but you may have to drive around a bit. A couple of restaurant choices too, and happy people eating by the ocean. Obviously not as nice as Santa Monica pier, but good to experience. Especially since it’s near multiple hikes :)

Great spot for a drink or something to eat. We had a drink on the top deck (make sure you put your order # on the chalkboard if seated up on the top deck. Don't leave your sitting area to grab anything (salt, pepper) if you are eating alone. Gentlemen did that to get salt and pepper, and right when he left, seagulls attacked his food within seconds. Great drink selection. Food and drinks are great, but service needs a little help. That's why the gentleman left his spot because he asked for salt and pepper 3 times. We asked for napkins, and it took a while for them to come up and wipe the table (napkins aren't allowed upstairs).
