Create an itinerary including Zuma Beach
One of the most popular beaches in the greater Los Angeles area, Zuma Beach attracts swimmers, surfers, fishers, and beachgoers alike with reliable waves and smooth sands. Part of Malibu's famous coastline, the beach stretches along the Pacific Ocean and is backed by mountains and foothills. You can hit the waves on a surfboard or body-board and then soak up the sun on sand renowned for its cleanliness. Though lifeguards are on duty during the day, you need to be careful at all times in the water; rip currents can be very strong. • Incredible beach. It's huge! My son and I spent hours having fun in the waves. Depending on weather/conditions, be careful. The ocean had a strong undertow the day we were there. Lots of...

  • This is what California is all about. Long beach with views forever. Locals love the surf and unblemished nature of this spot.

  • Malibu’s best beach. It’s clean and well maintained with public restrooms and showers to rinse off sand. You can take a 5+ mile walk. Porpoise often visit the surface of the glossy waves. There is a medley of birds that inhabit the beach including green parrots.
  • Great sandy beach. Saw dolphins nearby to beach, didn't swim, water was cold. The beach is amazing and was not so crowded. $6 for parking but you can do free parallel parking for checking the beach.
  • I would currently not at all recommend that beach. We had to pay 8$ for the day and got really nothing apart from closed restrooms, dirty and not working showers, trash cans which were more than full. I can definitely understand why people park outside next to the highway, it's a shame to charge money for the current situation. Seems like they are renewing some things, but can't tell how long that will take. Safe your money and go somewhere else.
  • What can you say about this beach besides the SoCal jewel. The sunsets, the mountainous backdrop, the perfect surf. Only drawback is all the people and struggle to find parking, but what can you expect at one of the best beaches in California. Zuma Beach will always have a special spot in my feels.
  • Never crowded and very beautiful views. Whenever I visit, most people would come later to just watch the sunset. Ample free parallel parking off the road, but you will need to walk a little. Also there are a few paid parking lots closer to the waterline.
