Great trail well marked quiet . Very few people on the trail when we hiked which was late afternoon. Do visit the Guides' Graveyard on one of the trails just behind the lodge

This was better than the caverns, although go in the Fall, Winter or Spring...the humidity here in Kentucky makes miserable until you hit the falls.

Echo river is located within mammoth cave national park area. There is beautiful nature trail named echo river springs trail here that takes you around the spring and along a part of the river. The trail is paved and well maintained. There is sufficient parking area and also area for boat launch. People do come to enjoy boat ride into green river or echo river. One can also use green river ferry to cross the river with their vehicles. There are picnic tables and restroom here
