  • Was there 2 days ago.It is a short trail but it is beautiful ,the history and the cave at the end of the trail are well worthed to visit .The story is incredible.Took beautiful pics.I recommended.

  • I absolutely loved this... We actually went into the entrance of the cave my husband went back further. Floyd Collins got trapped 60 ft below the surface & perished. Good piece of history here. Well.....  more

  • Naturally wet sand miles from any beach. Pretty cool. Worth the 3+ miles from Civic Park trailhead.
  • Entrance is blocked by metal crate that I was able to lift a little. I met cave explorers day before and they told me about explorer who died in this cave and I was reading about it before.
  • A very short walk, a very sad story. All the glory of fearless trail blazers, all the ugly side of humanity. You can find more details about the story of Floyd Collins online, way more shocking and sad than what the bulletin boards tell you.
  • If only Floyd had played World of Tanks. RIP.
