    The Heritage Center in Manitou Springs is well worth a visit but do check to make sure they will be open when you visit. They have rotating displays by seasons and for anyone who loves history, this.....  more

    This is so full of information! You better come ready to learn! It had a little bit of everything for the history of Manitou Springs. The highlights for me were the men who pushed peanuts up Pikes Peak with their noses and the pottery/art collection of Van Briggle. The person at the desk was distracted and not friendly. She barely greeted us. On the other side, I learned a lot about the town.
