I volunteer for the CG Foundation & every year we have a helicopter ball drop. We loved having Coastal Helicopters fly in from the OBX. Super sweet & accommodating people! We hope to have them for our next tournament

Our son purchased tickets for himself, his wife and his mom for a one hour helicopter ride of a lifetime. They flew out at 2pm on Wednesday, August 24th and enjoyed the beautiful northbound tour of the OBX. Larry was the pilot and awesome tour guide. My family raved about the breathtaking view and said the flight was incredibly smooth. Larry pointed out important landmarks, showed them schools of fish, dolphins and they saw sea turtles as they flew over the Atlantic. He pointed out the wild horses in Corolla and shared their history. What an awesome way to see the Corolla horses!!! Before the flight, Steph gave a safety briefing and escorted them to the helicopter. Larry and Steph make a GREAT team! They worked so well together to ensure their flight was the safest and most memorable EVER! They both are SUPER friendly and VERY personable! Highly recommend whether you are visiting, passing thorough or even live here!

Our plane ride was by far the most exciting part of our OBX vacation this year! It was so cool to see Roanoke Island from the air. I can't believe how clear the water was! We could see all sorts of sandbars, schools of fish, pods of dolphins, and even a shipwreck!!! It was amazing. Our pilot was awesome. He was a newcomer to the islands but jad clearly studied up and was able to answer pretty much every question. He did a good job of pointing out cool sights and making sure passengers on both sides of the plane could see. The plane itself was a small Cesna. The inside had a very 70s vibe (haha) but was very functional and comfortable enough for a 30-40 minute tour. It fit 3 people. One important note: the weight limit is 500 pounds total for passengers. Our group came in a little over, but the company was able to accommodate us in the appropriate plane without a problem. It's probably better to stick with just two adults, though, and maybe a kiddo just to make sure to keep under weight. And, yes, the pilot did ask us our actual weights to double check the limits! 😬 No judgement, just safety consciousness! ✔ We would highly recommend taking an air tour of the OBX, and this company provides very reasonable prices and packages. The various options all sound amazing (including one to ride in an open air bi-plane and one that includes some stunt flying!!!). You will never forget taking a plane tour. Never.

Larry gave us an amazing tour of the Cape Hatteras Seashore including the lighthouse in his beautiful R44 Raven II helicopter. The flight was smooth and professional and Larry was a great guide. If you want to do something truly unique in OBX, see it from the sky. Highly recommended.
