Point Bonita Lighthouse, Sausalito

Lighthouse itself was good, can tour the inside 1st floor only. Quite breezy, need to hold caps and glasses. Beautiful views of San Francisco and the Golden gate Bridge as it was very clear weather. Adam, the seasonal Park 🏞 ranger was very friendly, informative and outgoing. Interesting to find out the lighthouse was moved to its existing location because it was on top of the hill (not far away) and was not effective enough because of the fog, just a 💯 or so feet lower made a huge difference.

A wonderful little lighthouse! Parking was a bit of a headache but the hike up to the lighthouse is well worth it! Amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge to your left and the Pacific Ocean to your right! Also, look closely down at the big rocks in the water, you'll catch a glimpse of seals laying out in the sun! 😊 So many more things to mention like the carved out tunnel you have to walk through just to get to the lighthouse AND the suspension bridge!! The list goes on and on! I can't wait to go back, maybe for an evening tour?

Fantastic view of Golden Gate Bridge 🌉 amidst the ocean 🌊 It’s even more beautiful during the sunset 🌅 time. Also, the place is very windy and chill - remember to layer up. There are quite a few parking spots - additional spots were available too. Restrooms were present. Overall very nice place to enjoy Golden Gate Bridge view. I think the lighthouse is open open on Sunday and Monday until 3:30 🕞 haven’t got a chance to checkout the lighthouse.

We had a nice little hike around the area of Point Bonita Lighthouse. It was very easy to do. My 7 year old was easily able to do the hike. Unfortunately the lighthouse was closed. We got as close as we could. The views are really beautiful

Point Bonita Lighthouse is a lighthouse located at Point Bonita at the San Francisco Bay, before you go, it's better to check the visiting hours, they usually close pretty early. It's has amazing bay views, golden bridge, if you are lucky you might get chance to see seal ions too. But there always a lot of seabirds to see.
