Worst experience I ever had at a casino. Cocktail servers are no where to be found and to have to leave a machine just to grab a drink is ridiculous. Terrible casino no service anywhere

My husband and I just visited the Foxwoods Resort and Casino, we stayed at The Fox Tower hotel, we had a beautiful room on the 23rd floor, spectacular view to the forest and pool. We had a very comfortable king size bed, a beautiful jacuzzi, nice double head shower. The room was well maintained and very clean. We didn't visit the outlets this time but we did enjoy our visit & experience in the casino. Big selection of restaurants and bars. Don’t miss the sugar factory restaurant, good food and fun desert. There are also two buffets, one a la crate/small buffet and the main buffet. Unfortunately we did not get access to the main buffet because we did not have casino rewards card, access only with casino rewards card and an ID. There is also an arcade for kids. The pool water was perfect with lightly heated water, comfortable for little kids. Staff was very friendly & helpful. The property is very large, remember to wear comfortable shoes if you plan on exploring. Plenty elevators, no waiting time although being Labor Day all Foxwoods Hotels were packed. There is about 3 hours drive for us to get to Foxwoods Casino but definitely we will visiting again with friend and family.
I have never left a review in my life, until now. Do not stay here. Everything is closed. Including all the tables. Cannot even find a bag of pretzels after 10:00 PM. So we chose to stay here on our east coast road trip, so kids could hit the arcade and bowl and we would have food options, and adults could play the craps and blackjack tables. Unbelievable, everything was CLOSED, and they still charged $400 a night. Awful experience. Stay away at all costs.
One of the best casino resorts away from Vegas, haven't been here in a few years so I had to take a walk around, I forgot how big it is, so, have a good pair of walking shoes. I was sad to see they had changed some of the things, they used to have this awesome buffet. Now only one restaurant serves a breakfast and lunch buffet. Get there early or you will miss it. Sorry, no buffet's for the evening gambler. I went to Hard Rock Cafe for a burger and fries. $22.00 later I tried to tell myself the cheeseburger was worth the 17.99 pricetag. Nope couldn't do it. It was good but definitely a fire grilled whopper with cheese away from the casino would have been just as good and a lot cheaper. But I don't go there expecting to get cheap food. So just be prepared to spend a small fortune. The tables were busy and full of action. I sat down at Let it Ride for a few hands and walked away a little richer for the effort. Definitely a game you can win a lot or lose a lot depending on your betting habits. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The area's I visited were clean and sanitized. This is definitely a place I enjoyed going to. But it was a only as day trip. Can't help you with the hotel accommodations, maybe next time.
I've been going to Foxwoods since it first opened. This was the first time I've been since 2020 and the first time i didnt have the greatest time. I went on a Monday and Tuesday. Half of the restaurants were closed. The area by the Rainmaker Casino was deserted. We requested a non smoking room. When we checked in we were were told that there were none left. They put an air purifier in the room. It did remove any smoke smell but everything in the room was damp for the duration of the stay. The room was pretty run down but clean. The hallways smelled strongly of smoke. The casino is nonsmoking so I was surprised that they still offered smoking rooms. I'm not complaining about smokers. I just requested nonsmoking. I have to say that the staff was wonderful from the front desk to housekeeping.
My husband and I really enjoy the live roulette games. The staff is always upbeat and having a good time. There is always something for everyone here. Last time we went the hotel rooms were sold out so that stunk. We had to relocate to another hotel which wasn't ideal. We will definitely return for more fun!
