Spellbound Escapes, Mashantucket

Some close friends, my husband, and I love to do escape rooms…and Spellbound at Foxwoods was an absolute blast! We chose a post-apocalyptic room for our visit this weekend. The puzzles were challenging, but not impossible. It was also nice to have the option for unlimited hints, even though we didn’t use many. We almost beat it…10 more minutes and we would have done it, according to our game master. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back to play again!

8 people made it through with 6 minutes to spare. Lots of fun. Very challenging. Bring people who can remain calm. Staff was great. I recommend this place

My Sorority sisters visited here as an activity during our reunion. It was very intriguing and a lot of fun. It's the prefect activity for a group! Our game master celebrated with us and shot a video for me while we were chanting with excitement about getting out the escape!

We've done a LOT of escape rooms, and this was by far one of the best! I booked the Aftermath room for my sons 15th birthday and we had a great time. There were 7 of us in the room, but it never felt crowded. It was a TOUGH room, but we finished with 15 minutes to spare (we're just that good). Christian was our game master and he he did a fantastic job. This place is definitely on the pricier end of escape rooms, but that's to be expected as it's in Foxwoods, and I imagine their rent isn't cheap. If you're looking for a challenging and really well designed escape room, I would highly recommend checking this place out. We loved it!

Although we did not complete the game, we had an amazing time playing. Utilization of electronics along with the storyline was absolutely amazing. The fact that you had real time interaction with your game master and if you needed a hint, it was readily available. Hints were perfect, and did not give away too much to where it left you not having to use your brain. We honestly tossed around doing it because of the cost, but after seeing what was put into it, I would have to say it’s justified. We will absolutely go back again to try a different room. Kudos to the design and build teams, VERY well done.
