Rose Hill Vineyards, Mattituck

Great stay at the Rose Hill Inn. Staff is welcoming, polite, and respectful. Room was beautiful, highly recommended getting the one with a bathroom just for added privacy. Wine is delicious can’t go wrong with a flight and tasting them all. Keeping it short and sweet, you will enjoy this vineyard off the beating path, less crowds friendly people and just an overall great experience.

The staff alone make the experience ten times better. Kind, considerate, and super friendly. Chris, Molly, and Ali (apologies if spelling is wrong ) are all fantastic. The best red wines that Long Island has to offer, truly, and without any pretense. We also love their candles…

This is a must visit on your trip to the North Fork! We were greeted by amazingly friendly staff and offered our check in glass of wine choice. The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and our rooms were clean, spacious and so comfortable. The wine tasting is superb and delicious served with an abundant charcuterie board. The morning breakfast has lots of offerings and we were served delicious, warm options like avocado toast, eggs, Belgium waffles as well as fruit, yogurt and granola. The surroundings and grounds transport you to another place altogether! We were so delighted with our entire stay, we’re already booking for next year! Wish I could give the review 6 stars!! Worth the stay here!

I’m appalled by this vineyard. Beautiful place, great wine and snacks but we were having a causal girls day and they didn’t allow us to order more wine or snack because we already had 1 each. So we asked “are we being rowdy?” And they proceeded to say no you guys were a pleasure it’s just a rule. There is no way of knowing this was a “rule” they also don’t allow us to sit on the grass under the canopies because it wasn’t a weekend. We offered to order inside and bring our drinks to the picnic tables that were SET UP. I am shocked that they wouldn’t accept more service and money especially when our group was quiet and reserved.

We were gifted a night at the Farmhouse Inn at Rose Hill Vineyards. The whole property is beautiful. Upon arrival we were greeted with a complimentary wine tasting flight and charcuterie board followed by a complimentary glass of our choosing. The wine is very good. The back patio overlooks the vineyard and has great vibes. We stayed in the porchside suite and everything was perfect. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. We loved sitting on the front porch outside our room. The entire staff was great and extremely helpful. They helped us arrange transportation to our dinner reservation last minute and gave us a free glass of wine while we waited. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and a great way to end the stay. Rose Hill is a must visit - especially from the city as it is only an hour and 45 minutes away. Thank you to everyone at Rose Hill, we loved our weekend getaway!
