The tour guide was very enthusiastic about showing us around the cave. Also, she was very knowledgeable as was everyone else. It was definitely a lot better than I expected.

Mallory is an excellent guide who spoke clearly and obviously knows the facts and history of the cave. The property is very well maintained, animals look happy in their clean barnyard. 73 steps...

We stopped here on our way to completing the Indiana Cave Trail. It was a Thursday, so not busy at all, which was good in some ways, but the soap making and sweet shop were closed. We were a little bummed about that. Our tour guide was really nice and knowledgeable, unfortunately we couldn't hear more than half of what she said during our 1 hour tour because some folks thought it was a good idea to bring two kids under two years old on the tour. They fussed and cried pretty much the whole time. I do not recommend bringing children under 3 years old on any cave tours, once you're in, there's no way out until the tour is over. Not good for little ones. I did manage to get some great photos in the cave and the highlight for us was seeing the final resting place of Squire Boone and hearing the history behind that. Very neat! My kids loved feeding the goats and pigs on the property. The lady who runs the candle dipping could have been a bit friendlier, she got a little short with my kids when they weren't following her (not very clear) instructions. Everyone else who worked there was very nice though! The gem mining was fun and they found some gems they hadn't seen before.

Every time I try a new cave experience in the area I think there is no way it can be as good as or better than the one before but they are all so good. Squire Boone Caverns was so much fun and there is so much to do. Everyone was incredibly nice too. There is a rock hut with all kinds of cool stuff, a candle shack where you can make your own candles, a spot to get good food (the pulled pork was excellent), a zip line, animals to feed, and of course the cave tour. The food was pricy as most tourist places are but was really good. The cave is simply amazing and a must see destination. If I do have criticism, it's that the tour leader needs a microphone and speaker. The cave has actively flowing water and he spoke so low I only heard about 50% of what he said for the whole tour. Thankfully I'm very familiar with caves and the beauty of this one kind of speaks for itself. Great experience though and one I would highly recommend

A stunning experience, with kind and helpful staff. The rock shop has great fun things at a good price, same with the candle shop. The restaurant was a little expensive but tbh it was worth it cause everything tasted amazing. The cave of course has the coolest history with beautiful views and the best running water exhibits I've seen in a cave. However from the back everything was a but quiet because of how loud the water was so if you're hard of hearing I suggest going to the front. Or a speaker on the guide would be beneficial- either way the cave connected to the mill which was unique to see so overall 11/10 for Squire Boone.

This cave was AMAZING!! The tour guide, Graham, was very nice and very informative and answered all the questions we had. The cave was so gorgeous and I loved that the guide went slow enough we could take it all in and get photos. I couldn't believe how clean the animals were! Loved it! The pig was adorable. I loved it here and would come back again next time I'm in the area. I absolutely loved the formations at the very beginning of the tour -first time I saw that and I REALLY loved the waterfall over the two flowstone formations. So gorgeous.

Go for the cave tour, the rest is just filler. This was a super unique cave, I've been through a lot of caves but this one was different. Lots of water and tons of cave formations. We really enjoyed the cave tour. The tour guide could have been more knowledgeable but really this cave is just super fun to walk though. They light it up in a fun way and it's very well kept up. As for the rest, most of the other buildings were closed. The rock shop, candy store etc were all pretty lackluster. Don't come here for the other "stuff". Unless you have much younger kids it's a waist of time. However, the cave tour was definitely worth the drive. The staff was super nice and the place is kept up really nicely.
