Located just across the road from the Prairie Band Casino & Resort, Firekeeper has the potential to be one of the premier golf courses in the Midwest while providing jobs for both the tribe and for northeast Kansas. Four-time PGA TOUR winner Notah Begay III, the only full-blooded Native American on the PGA TOUR, designed the course with renowned golf course architect Jeff Brauer.

My husband really enjoyed this golf course. It said it was challenging and very well kept. Hw tries to golf this course every time that we stay at Prairie Band. Definitely recommend.

The course did not meet expectations. Front desk and bar staff were very nice and welcoming although the course was over rated. The prices for the actual golf was outrageous. For 100 dollars on a Friday in September after Labor Day Weekend, the course is full of water, dead spots all over the tees, fairways, and greens, and water coolers do not have cups on a 90 plus degree day. Holes 1-7 were in great shape. Holes 8-18 were in very rough shape and quite disappointed.

Animals should never have their life taken from them with a knife to the throat and drown on their own blood so you can have a snack, isn't it about time? You grew up and went vegan and showed some mercy on the animals?

We golfed it recently and had a fantastic experience! Great staff that were all incredibly helpful and helped us enjoy the round. The course was in great shape as well. Greens are flawless. I will be coming back for sure.

What a great experience! We called a day before and Caden was able to get us a tee time for the following day. We arrived a bit early and got sent out right away, had the course to ourselves. The carts where prepared and brought to us, bags where loaded and off we went. We grabbed a few beers before heading out and where served by the lovely Emma. The course was in excellent shape. The staff and atmosphere make this a fantastic day. Thank you!

Fun round and unique track. It can play more difficult than the rating and slope leads on with the winds on exposed holes, but fairways are wide and conditions are phenomenal. Great experience from start to finish!
