Brix and Columns Vineyards, McGaheysville

The main house if very pretty, with a large grassy field out front, where I would guess you could sit, have a picnic with a glass of wine. They seem to want to project an upscale facility, but we found the plastic tables inside with no linen on top took away from the experience. They have very cool flight holder, but putting it on the table just made it seem off. The wine was good, we weren't amazed by it, but each one of us one that we purchased a glass. There was a nice fire place indoors, which was nice on the chilly, rainy day we were there. There was a wedding getting ready and it looked like a very nice set up. We would come again, but probably wouldn't be at the top of our list. On the flip side holding an event, might be at the top.

We loved the friendly staff as well as our flights of wine. It made me so glad to be able to bring our own picnic lunch and enjoy the wine with it. The grounds are lovely as well! The backdrop out front was wonderful. It would certainly be a beautiful venue for a wedding. We made sure to bring both a souvenir glass and some bottles to go in it home with us.

I attended a dear friend's wedding here. What a beautiful venue! The wedding was outdoors, and all went well, and the wine was great.

I love Brix & Columns Vineyards. The perfect balance of Venue & Winery. Owners are great and the space is Huge yet homey. Lots of space for larger weddings with a great patio for live music and a sip (or 2) of wine. I DJ there and the indoor and outdoor areas are beautiful! A gem of the Shenandoah valley for sure!

The good: Beautiful location and the wine was very good. The bad: lighter fluid fumes from food truck in the room made me sick and why did they have a Rock Band playing music at 130 dB's at 6:00pm.
