Create an itinerary including Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum
At Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum, you'll see numerous military and civilian aircrafts and space machinery. The main attraction, the 1947 Spruce Goose, is a wooden aircraft and boat at the same time with the largest wingspan of any aircraft in history. You'll discover the two-story high centerpiece of the space flight center, the Titan II missile, here as well. The exhibited SR-71 Blackbird is the fastest piloted aircraft, achieving speeds of nearly 3,530 km/h (2,193 mph). For fun, try out the interactive moon landing simulator. The waterpark at the site features 10 rides, four of which begin inside a real Jumbo Jet. • We're lucky to have the air and space museum so close to us. Each time we visit, we always find something that we missed before. With plenty of great planes on display, the Spruce Goose, and the space museum next door, you could spend a day here easily. Staff is friendly, helpful and informative. There are snacks and a gift shop and a free water jug if you get thirsty. The facility is layer out nicely and a self tour is easily achieved.
  • Amazing museum. Parking is so easy there. Ticket prices are okay in general. Volunteers did a great job in facilitating the visit and they were available if you need any information. The museum is divided into two separate buildings, one as aviation museum and the other as space . Both are amazing. There’s a huge opportunity to take different photos. You should try the simulator during your visit .
  • This place is huge! There is so much to see and explore and learn! Beautiful facility! Amazing to see all the wonderful technology and how far we’ve come. The diversity of planes to see was unbelievable. The cafe has basic food but they have a cafe nonetheless. I would say you need at least 5 hours checking this place out. I highly recommend this place!
  • Wonderful place very informative and huge lots of things to see. This is the location now at the Spruce Goose a $30 you can actually sit in the seat at the controls of the Spruce Goose. There's lots of things to read and lots of things to watch they have old style Airline seats to sit in while you're doing so. There is also water park here excellent place to go as well.
  • Had a great time at the Air and Space museum! There were a lot of planes, jets, vehicles and space items on display! There are a lot of neat models, too. The spruce goose is huge! The staff was knowledgeable and fun to listen to. My kids are history buffs and they really enjoyed being here!
