Mesquite, Nevada's only 36 hole golf club is a semi-private resort facility. The Palmer course was designed by Arnold Palmer in 1995. The Canyons Course was originally a nine-hole layout named the Vistas, which is now the back nine. In 2005, the introduction of the new arroyo nine meanders through existing canyon landscape and desert, which is comparable to the Palmer Course.

  • Palmer course in great shape, Canyon course not as good. Very scenic views. Disappointed with speed of play. Complained to Course Marshall twice about slow play of foursomes ahead of us but ignored...

  • Beautiful courses, tough lies but slow play was a huge issue. We paid twilight fees and teed off at 12:50 with enough daylight hours to finish, however staff (Marshall’s) do not address slow players.....  more

  • Played 5/31/22 on canyons, the course was great would categorize it as resort/desert golf and plays even easier than the slope rating. The pro shop was great upon check in, the cart guys were chill and was paired with members who were very kind and inviting. The only gripes I have are the locals here, the guy working on the range was a grump, the starter that day needs to keep his bad attitude and politics off the golf course and the locals need to quit acting like your holding them up even when you play a 3.5hr round. The management need to figure out how to lead a team whom can be inviting to “outsiders” or who’s going to want and come back? I surely don’t after that.
  • Played six rounds at different courses and this experience was the worst. Agree with the many other reviews - starter was a grouch, they don’t want “outsiders’ at the club, so why do they book times….The staff acts like you are a nuisance, very unfriendly as if this is some type of exclusive private club. The course is mediocre, the worst of the six that we played and the staff makes it worse. The other courses’ staff were extremely nice and accommodating to make sure we had a great experience. We are low handicappers but came here to enjoy the round, but it is not a welcoming place for that. Mediocre course, not maintained well, and they don’t want you here interrupting the locals. Too many good options so just don’t bother coming here. Replay Wolf Creek or Falcon Ridge instead. Way better courses and way better people.
  • The Worden at Oasis is a standout for excellence in preparation, presentation and great, friendly service. We are looking forward to their dinner service starting this week. We find ourselves returning frequently - we know it will always be delicious and a pleasant meal out!
  • Just finished a week and a bit long golf trip, 36 a day, total of 18 rounds. 2nd year in a row to Mesquite because of just how great, and close, all the courses are to each other. I am a little biased towards these courses as I just made my first ever hole in one on the 17th at canyons(cannot stop myself from telling everyone and anyone….even random people reading google reviews) First…Canyons course. This is my favourite. Holes are tough, they demand good shots to be on in regulation…but once you get there, the greens are fair. They’re not flat, but the not extreme as most in the area are. This course has a good mix of long and short holes. There are drop shots and fun geography. All the holes are different. If you’re looking for a course to throw down a low round, this is the one. Palmer. Good course too. Some very demanding holes. I find it a little more gimmicky than canyons, but absolutely worth playing. The reason I gave it only four stars. The marshals. You pay a lot of money to play these courses, and as we are always re-rounding and late in the season, we are usually pushing the envelope on daylight…but we planned our tee times accordingly. Both days we played these courses the Marshalls told us we were going to have to quit with only a couple holes to play because they wanted to clean the carts and get out of there. Both times we ignored them as for whatever reason, they start their tour on 18 and work back, meanwhile guys are still teeing off on 10. Both days we finished in the light. Both days we were nowhere near the last groups off the course. The second day I got my hole in one on 17 (see, I did it again) after being told we’d have to leave. Then, while we were putting on 18…in daylight…he came back around and growled at us to hurry up. It was a little bit of bulls**t that we just didn’t appreciate.
  • The Oasis golf club has two 18 hole tracks, Canyons and Palmer. Both courses are fun, but the Palmer is a little more interesting a layout to me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Both Canyon and Palmer courses were in great shape when I played, though the greens were a little difficult to read and find ball marks with the green and brown tiny camouflage pattern of grass. I will be back to play again.
