Virgin River Hotel Casino, Mesquite

Stayed 2 nights, 25-27 September 2022 (Sun-Tues), everything was excellent! The room was spacious, the A/C was effective, bathroom was very clean and fully functional, and plenty of parking, in fact I parked right in front of my room. The pool and hot tub were very good, only minor problem was no pool towels so you had to bring a room towel, but plenty of deck lounges, some in shade, some in the sun. I ate at both the buffet and the cafe and the food was great, delicious prime rib at the buffet (plus many other items), and the cafe was top notch. I ordered the full rack of ribs and could eat less than half, my take-out container must've been at least 3 pounds. And at $19 (includes soup or salad, potato, veggies, and 2 rolls), it was an incredible bargain. Best of all the room was only $27/night with NO resort fee, about 1/4 of what you'd pay in Vegas. I was very pleasantly surprised, plan on returning soon for at least 3 nights.

The Hotel we slept in had a double bed we are a family of four, Me, My little brother, My mom, and my dad. My mom and dad slept in the same bed I slept in a bed with my brother the bedding was clean for the most part, and I got really good sleep, It was warm and cozy and felt great. My mom said in the bathtub she found 2-3 Roaches and the sheets were frayed for her and my dad's bed but that's it. the bathroom was clean so was the sink. The shoe shelf was nice I was able to fit a couple of pairs, There were hangers so I could hang up my leather jacket so the hotel was nice, Next in the morning we woke up and, my brother, and my dad went into the buffet. The food was absolutely great. I had a variety of foods that were delicious I can't remember since this was over a month ago but it was perfect the buffet was clean they had reasonable prices considering we all filled ourselves up, and the foods were pretty stocked up, and the plates were clean so were the booths, The food could fill you up easy and I left absolutely satisfied. A little while later we went to the arcade, It was fun besides the fact when I was throwing the balls to knock the clowns down I lost my ring but they were good about getting it back. The bathrooms were clean we went there then went bowling, and the drinks were good so was the ice cream, My mom went to the casino and won on the machine and got all 7s. And lastly, we went to this restaurant there are casinos and I think a bank by it but it was really good I got corn chowder and spaghetti the staff was really nice shout-out to them btw. It was all-around great service and I recommend coming here it's perfect for a family of four, and there are things to do for the kids also! I would totally come back.

Love this casino. Definitely my favorite casino in Nevada. We stop in there every year on our way to Utah and it never disappoints. The games are great and the food is fantastic. You’re still able to get that old style low cost casino food. Very few casinos still offer the cheap food anymore and this place has it and it’s delicious every time. They even have a hot dog stand inside with hotdogs for like 75 cents. There’s a giant arcade to keep the kids busy while the adults play. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the cheapest around. Especially during the week. Heading that way in a week and I already booked my room. Can’t wait!!

If you are looking for a place that just has bare minimums, like a bed & bathroom then this place will work great for you. The rooms are absolutely no frills and the price reflects that. We just needed somewhere to sleep so it is fine. No fridge, no coffee maker in the rooms and potentially bring your own towels, they don't provide much.

Great gambling machines. We are not forced to play higher denominations! I live in Mesquite and play for entertainment only. I mostly donate but at least I can still play without being worried about paying my mortgage. I also love the "old" Vegas feel. It is very comforting. The employees are also very nice and personable. Being a local resident, it is always nice to visit and enjoy the employees go out of their way to say hello. Please bring KENO back. It is truly missed....
