  • A small, but very nice free museum, but worth the time to look through some very interesting exhibits. The old time movie projector is especially interesting. Don't forget to leave a donation!

  • Really neat look back at life in the area before modern convenience made life easier. The amazing tight weave on the baskets seem un real. The teacher who sewed her own incredible wedding dress. And in 27 years of teaching only missed 3 days 1)her wedding day 2&3) the birth of her childern! There are hand carved wooden chains made from a single broom handle. All the links are solid wood. No breaks. The locked cabinet where the nurse kept the medicines. And the quilt made to commemorate another teacher lifetime of service. With the names of her students from 1925-1966. And after that she still volunteered until 1977. If you find yourself in the area. You should stop by. The staff can answer pretty much any of your questions. Its free to enter. But the do appreciate donations
  • Fabulous historical place with exhibits that cover a vast range of subjects. The staff person was amazingly interesting and helpful. Thank you!
  • The history of these rocky crags are written in the lives of those whose names we'll never know. Within the museum resides a collection of personal items donated in memory of the hard scrapple people who built this area. 1 1/2 hour stop, worth it.
  • Great place to know about local history. The couple who helped us was very nice and friendly. And it's free.
  • My wife and I had a wonderful time there the dosen was excellent she knew everything you would want to know about mesquite I recommend visiting. Located on mesquite boulevard
