Kidcity Children's Museum, Middletown

This place is open to ages 1 through 8. Sections with climbing, exploration and imagination throughout. 90 minutes was sufficient and maybe 2 hours had it not started to get busier. Reservation online only, no walk-ins, I liked that. They have 4 bathrooms and a fun section in the basement for 1 and 2 year olds. You do pay to park with a meter. Coins or card. 1.00 an hour. 10.00 per person for entry.

Had a great time! I've been trying to find a time to bring my toddler here and we finally made it. So, glad we did & we'll definitely be back. My very active kiddo had a great time and we spent over 5 hours (w/a few breaks) playing. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Tons to do, there was something new around every corner. Lovely rooms, thoughtfully made, and engaging for the littles. I can't say enough great things about kidcity! I read a few (very few) low reviews, and IMO, I think the few people that didn't like this place probably just don't enjoy kid-centered activities. I you have an active and curious young child that you want to keep busy pack some lunch/snacks/bag full of random little kid supplies, and head to kidcity. You'll be pleased! Just a heads up, times tickets get listed at 3pm for the next day and often sell out quickly, so set an alarm and plan ahead.

Not enough good things to say about this incredible not-so-little museum. So much amazing thought put into every nook and cranny. Feels safe to bring littler children, without big kids plowing them over at top speed. And somehow much cleaner than I would ever expect a children's museum to be. 11/10.

Lots of fun activities! My 10 year old had a blast with her siblings and cousins all under 6 years of age. Love the themes, and excited to see what comes next!

The heart of the museum is the castle upstairs and the castle is really nice for kids to play and use their imagination around. It's a fun place for a couple of hours.
