  • Great place to walk around for a bit and visit the old house foundations and learn a bit about the history of the village. Be aware that signage and trail markage is poor and this was a bit of a bummer for me. A few objects outside the Gould house seemed interesting but there was nothing/no one around to tell us what they had been used for. I guess the groundskeeper/owner of the Gould house wasn't there when we were (1 pm on a Saturday) and that was disappointing as we couldn't go inside the restored house. All in all I enjoyed the walk and seeing the historic village.
  • This easy relaxing walk through the streets(paths) of the old and forgotten village of Monson NH is well worth the adventure. The eight blue heron nesting high in the dead trees are a treat in themselve.
  • A nice place for an easy and enjoyable walk. The signs around have local historical information. A great way to spend a few hours!
  • Love love love love, what a great experience. Even got to meet the prior owner of the grounds, 'Russ" and his little dog. He even offered me a tour of the old homestead. Amazing man, amazing land. Ill.be back again soon.
  • Very cool and nice place to stroll with friends or family and learn some history. Def nice in the fall time. Can be a little hard to find but put Monson Center in on Google maps brings you right to it
