The Story Shop, Monroe

Located in Monroe, Georgia The Story Shop is a beautiful book store for every age group you can think of. The entire store is immersive experience with so many literature references that it was a joy to point them out to my daughter. We spent a good part of our visit exploring the different rooms & browsing their wonderful selection of books. After picking out a few, my daughter got to play in their Hobbit house while I snuck out for tea time around the corner. I highly recommend you check out their IG & support such a gorgeous store. It's so important to keep kids interested in reading & this book store does a phenomenal job keeping fantasy alive for any age.

This has been one of my kids favorite places since it opened in downtown Monroe. As they are getting older, we visit now for fun memories and to search for something new to read. I have one that can't wait to work there one day, ha!

I was truly impressed by the set up and decor of this children's bookstore! Such a creative way to jump start the imagination of children and get them excited to read. Everywhere I looked was a reference to a story. It was so whimsical! The "secret" rooms were fun for the kids and the party room in the back got my mind thinking of the greatest baby shower ever. Every parent needs to drop by with their child(ren) for a shopping trip. Let's keep bookstores going strong....online sites cannot compare to this place!

Completely beautiful children's book store. No detail has been overlooked in the creation of this space. My daughter and I went here originally for the Mad Hatter Tea Party that I saw advertised on Facebook. She had a blast and met lots of kids there. We had story time in the Narnia wardrobe. There's even a Hobbit hole in a wall. There are tributes to books everywhere and just beautifully done.
