  • We came to walk down the lovely little path that angles around the lake. It's a nice little view, and it's lovely for a stop to stretch your legs if you're in Monroe.

  • Lake Tye provides plenty for all ages. For the children there is a sizable varied play area which is near seating for the parents. For the sports enthusiast are plenty of #fishing areas, and a boat launch, although no lifeboats are provided, as well as a #skatepark, tennis court and sports field. Hiking, running and walking trails are a decent length. Swimming is also available. And of course there are a number of bird varieties to see including hawks and eagles occasionally. Bathrooms are available in the main park area. The park is well maintained. And although there are no food vendors on-site there are restaurants nearby. The only thing missing is an enclosed dog park area.
  • Mother's day was packed with kids and families and it was so nice to see so many people celebrating the beautiful Sunday there with their families. Had a lot of fun with our kiddo, we came back the next day there were only about 5 other children and their parents there this time. Always have a good time coming to ride our bikes around the lake and watch the skateboarders. Great atmosphere to hold parties and BBQs! Safe environment for children, as long as the parents watch them.
  • Nice place for a summer outing. As we went on a weekend it was too crowded. The lake was perfect for small kids to let go of their fear of waters. The park had picnic shelters that were all occupied and we sat down under the trees. There's also a play area for kids of varying ages. A skate park is located here which was very interesting for the kids and beginner skaters. The cons were limited parking lots and not-so-clean restrooms.
  • We love this park. It's clean and there is so many activities for the children. The play area is the biggest around Monroe and Woodinville. The lake has a paved trail all around it for walking, jogging or biking; the skate park is a good size. The lake has a big beach next to the park that makes it perfect for little once to get their hands and feet in the water and be safe. We love coming here for fishing, biking, playing and get snacks across the streets when we are done.
  • What a gem of a park in Monroe! We attended a birthday party here and were surprised at all the great features. The parking lot is right next to the fantastic playground and a short walk to the lake. The covered picnic area also has two coal grills for usage. Bathroom facilities don't have a rinsing amenity, but are a short walk from the playground. The clean and lovely lake very gradually gets deeper, so it's especially great for young children. SUP, kayaking, and canoeing are super easy to do here, and my son even noticed some fish on the far side of the lake, too. With a paved path around the lake, this is an ideal spot for us to visit whenever we have time to head over to Monroe. It's definitely a park I've been recommending!
