  • Edgemont is a beautiful park close to Montclair. One can walk, jog, fish or just sit and relax., it is well maintained and accessible, with good parking.

  • I’m writing this from a fisherman’s point of view. It’s a beautiful park if your looking at the grass and playground, but if you want to go fishing or even look at the pond, there is so much algae it’s and eyesore. I believe this is simply because of the warmer weather conditions, but there are also posters saying they treated the pond, which I don’t believe. I’m writing this in hopes of raising awareness towards this problem and getting it fixed. Bellow is a photo of my lure after one cast. It’s incredibly annoying and it’s impossible for me to believe this is good for the fish living there.
  • It's a beautiful park! We went right at sunset and the reflection off the water was so pretty! There were even some ducks swimming around. One bridge to walk around was blocked off maybe the storm damaged it. The only thing is it got pretty dark at night when we got ready to leave maybe there should be some more light🤷🏽‍♀️ but pretty peaceful place. Had a small evening picnic and ate the best asain food I've ever tasted!
  • "Once in awhile you are shown the light, in the strangest of places, if you look at it right" Tome su tiempo, pero rapido! Take your time, but hurry up! 💧🤲🏿🔥🌇🌌🏞❤️💛💚🎶🌍✌️
  • As a travel nurse from North Carolina, I am constantly delighted by little surprises (like this park) tucked in unexpected corners everywhere in New Jersey. I had picked up a burger and sweet potato fries to go at Stuffed Grass Fed Burgers nearby (HIGHLY recommended) and wanted a pretty place to enjoy my meal. I sat on a park bench overlooking the beautiful pond (with fountains!) and an island with some sort of memorial. Wanting to burn off my feast, I walked along the paved trail around the pond, enjoying the beautiful view and watching families bike and play. As I drew closer to the memorial, a bridge offered a better view. On this Independence Day, I was thrilled to discover that it was a beautiful tribute to the local residents who had given their lives for our freedom. As an Air Force veteran myself, married to a retired Air Force officer, daughter of an Air Force officer and also the mother of an Air Force officer, I was moved to tears. This park brought joy to me, all alone and far from home and family, on this summer holiday.
  • Such a nice park for a picnic. Benches and trash cans all over so there is no trash on the ground. There is so much space to run and play here. Definitely coming back this summer.
