  • This museum shows you what happened to Rosa Parks on the bus that day and explains how tirelessly she worked in the Civil rights movement. Such an important time in our collective history.

  • This small museum on Fisk U. campus doesn't compare to the same story told at the Legacy Museum, but there is still new information to glean. It's worth the stop if for no other reason than to pay...

  • Great little museum packed with history! I loved the reenactment portion most. It was especially appealing to my daughter who didn’t want to read through each sign so it helped her understand what happened easier. The timeline display is so thorough and informative, staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility and bathrooms were very clean.
  • This was a fabulous museum. The first part is in the children’s wing and is the time travel bus that takes you back to the beginning of racism and segregation. It is so well done and easy for children and adults to enjoy and learn. The second part is the main museum where the events leading up to the bus boycott, Rosa Parks arrest, the boycott, and everything else regarding that time in Montgomery. It was beautifully done and laid out. The museum is a real treat, and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
  • This is an absolute must see if you're in Montgomery!! It's really one of the best historical museums in Montgomery that I've ever been to. So much history and information. It's also one of the best self-guided tours I've ever been on! 🤠
  • This is a must see if you are in or passing through Montgomery. Both our kids, 12/15, really enjoyed it and were engaged. They liked the “Time Travel” bus on the children’s museum side and I think even adults so go and check it out. Great way to learn about the history. This museum reiterates what we tell our children daily -you must be the voice, a leader and to stand up to injustices.
  • I really enjoyed my experience here at the Rosa Parks museum. The interactive video experience with the bus was great. Also the information provided about all that was going on in Montgomery and the civil rights movement was very interesting. It was pretty inexpensive and it was well worth the time to become more aware of what happened. Highly recommended for anyone.
