Mount Airy Casino, Mount Pocono

Room was immaculate, pool area was beautiful with a bar! Great area to spend a cold winter day, the only thing was the water could have been a couple degrees warmer which would have made it perfect but still very nice. casino was a good size and we found the staff to be nice especially our dealer at the roulette table made the experience better. Overall a very nice time no problems and they have valet parking which was also nice in the cold. If you do not like smoke then do not stay here as in most casinos you can smoke there, the weekdays are a little better as far as how strong it is but would still visit again!

The only other place that I can mentally compare this location to is the Mohegan Sun Pocono in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The Mount Airy Casino is very nice with a little more space around the slot machines. I noticed that there are less people there during the workdays. The complimentary drinks are definitely better than the Mohegan Sun. The lighting could definitely be a little dimmer, like Mohegan, so that when you start enjoying yourself (feeling the drinks) you don't feel weird when the staff looks directly at you while walking by, I didn't like that.. You also cannot buy multiple drinks at the bar for your wife or friend while they're playing, I didn't like that either.. The staff seemed to be very nice, but the cleanup crew was another story. Overall, it's a nice place, but there's obviously trust issues here. I would recommend the lighting should get dimmed, just a little more, and this would compensate for the staff staring/judging you when walking around. Either the cleanup staff needs to get paid more, and/or, hire employees that try to smile more (professionalism) and be a little less judging to others that are trying to enjoy themselves, regardless what day it is. Besides all that, this place would be my fallback casino to go to. Oh, and for some reason, whoever thought of/designed that the smoking section be directly when you enter the casino, was not a good idea, but at least the place is pretty clean, so that's good.

The casino and hotel is beautiful and offers a lot of amenities. Bistecca’s restaurant was wonderful! The staff was amazing, very helpful and pleasant to deal with. They have a great pool area, the outdoor pool was closed since it’s November, but the pool was not warm, about room temperature and the hot tub area was the same. The casino prices change depending on the day. Friday night roulette was $15 minimum, but Saturday was $25 tables only, too high for my taste. The rooms are nice and clean, but unfortunately the entire place wreaks of cigarettes! It’s really disgusting. We were there because of a wedding, but I won’t be back unless they change the smoking rules. There should be smoking areas that are properly ventilated and sealed so everyone doesn’t have to suffer the affects of second hand smoke. It’s a shame, it’s a really nice place.

Just came back from our second visit there. Both times were a great experience. Have tried the spa for a couples massage, which was relaxing, soothing, and fun. The buffet is also excellent, worth the price for sure. Lots of choices, clean tables, friendly folks all around. The guestrooms were also quite nice- spacious and warm. Only thing I would say is be aware that they add on charges like a resort fee, even if you are not gonna use any of the facilities. Also, like many other businesses affected by this post Covid economy, not much going on in the resort, entertainment wise, except on Fridays and Saturdays...

Went on a Sunday between 12:30-3pm. Most all table games including Craps, Roulette, and Three card poker were $5 minimum (Blackjack $15 minimum). That was a very pleasant surprise. The dealer at 3 card (Christopher) was very enjoyable and fun to play with. As long as the table games are affordable, I will continue to come back. Very satisfied with my previous visit (8/7/22)
