  • Gorgeous homes - loved them both! Our guide was awesome. You could tell she enjoyed her job! She took her time explaining all the details of both houses and there was a lot to see! We were amazed....  more

  • Three cheers for this exceptional tour for the Hackley/Hume tour. The homes are stunning and one really develops an appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into building these gorgeous homes...

  • Went with 9 & 10 year old granddaughters, they enjoyed it very much as did I. They especially enjoyed that the tour guide kept them entertained with informative tidbits of old vs. new technologies and how the children back then lived and played etc. The oldest granddaughter took more pictures than I did, and still was talking about the experience the next day. It a big thumbs 👍🏻 up for any history buff.
  • You have to go on a guided tour but they started a tour for just us right after we showed up. The guide was good, giving us just enough but not too much detail. Don’t forget to go to the Depression house and the Fire Barn after, they are included in the price of your ticket.
  • Went on the After Dark Tour and it was really well done. Tour guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. The homes are beautiful and really well restored.
  • Had a great time on the After Dark Tour! I highly recommend it as a must do in Muskegon! The staff were the best very entertaining and kept us laughing.
  • These two houses are exquisite pieces of art. Almost every inch of the furniture and wooden or iron structure are finely carved.
