  • Definitely underrated beach in Michigan. Not too crowded. Entrance fee is $10 and $~36. Beach have good waves and has medium walk from parking lot to the beach.

  • Have gone on a few different hikes here, there is a lot variety for different levels of skill, how much time you want to spend, etc. may have just been timing with but the beach always seem more quiet and peaceful than other beaches. Stopped in the visitors center and the employee was super helpful and friendly giving tips on her favorite hike. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a day out in nature!
  • This park is great. Big area to park with a sidewalk walking to the beach. There are restrooms there and some benches to sit on. A concrete ramp helps walking down super easy and the dunes are big and impressive. It makes for a fun visit to sunset. Plenty of room for all the swimmers and photo takers.
  • We LOVE it here. This park is always and I mean ALWAYS very clean. There is an educational center with local wildlife information. It's interesting and fun for kids too. There are tons of maintained trails. Plenty of parking available. There is access to a wonderful beach. You can walk a trail to the beach or go to the parking area that is for the beach. Beach showers and foot showers are available. There are also portable toilets on several trails. There is a permanent bathroom with changing rooms by the beach. Dogs and cats allowed to walk with you if leashed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Extra stars!!!!!
  • We had originally wanted to go to grand haven state park but it was impossible to get in so we ended up here. We were not disappointed one bit. It wasn't super busy and there was a really nice beach.
  • MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BEACH EVER. Trees, sand, lake water, and dunes. There’s nothing better about the nature of this setting. My family and I make a 45 minutes drive weekly to hang out here. We love it. Bring a hammock and swing from the trees!
