  • This ship was in the D-day invasion and it is a great tour. The museum is top shelf. I think we enjoyed it much better than the WWII museum in New Orleans.

  • This was a surprise, the ship is on the Muskegon waterfront and I just happened to notice it as I was driving past. This ship is the real deal, she was delivering tanks and troops to Omaha Beach on.....  more

  • Went here with husband and grandsons age 10 and 6. We had a great time. So much history to witness on 4 levels of the ship. Small gift shop. Helpful staff and volunteers.

  • Pretty cool museum. The man at the front collecting the money could brush up on his people skills. Maybe he just got out of bed on the wrong side. The ship is 3 levels and lots to see on every level. It is right along the bike path. If you ride your bike don't use the bike rack. The irrigation system is pointed right at it. Quite the suprise to have everything soaking wet on a gorgeous day.
  • Can't believe I've lived in Muskegon my whole life and this is the 1st time I've been through the LST 393. I brought the kids after the Memorial Day parade. So it was the perfect time to continue our education on why we remember 🇺🇸 All gave some. Some gave all. 🪖🇺🇸🦅
  • Great museum! It’s educational and they host fun events as well like D-Day remembrances. They have some pretty cool displays inside. Well worth a visit.
  • Wonderful displays!!! The entire family enjoyed it. Beautiful views on the deck.
  • The history at this museum is incredible. The many plaques throughout the museum are very interesting to read, and they paint a picture of what the ship must’ve been like in its prime as a warship. You can go down as far as the engine room and up as far as the top level! There is a gif shop inside for souvenirs. Prices are reasonable at $10/adult as if 2021.
