I Love Sugar - Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach

The candy selection was awesome, but they didn’t have any caramel or toffee. The ambience was pretty. The staff was friendly, but they weren’t that knowledgeable or attentive. No prices were posted for the candy. So, when my family and I got to the register, needless to say, we were shocked to find out the amount we were to pay was a few dollars short of $200. They charge by the pound and weren’t notified how much it was per pound for the candy until we were being rung up.

Yes, the majority of the sweets are marked at a higher price. One would expect that with the surrounding area being very touristy. With that being said, I still think it’s worth it if you have a sweet tooth. They have everything imaginable & more. Store is also clean. The only real drawback is that there is no restroom.

Markup is way too high for what they offer. No bathrooms and had a strange smell when we walked in (smell might just be temporary issue or something) We didn't buy anything but took a look around. Also no restrooms even if your a customer.

Very cool!! The ice cream cone I got was my favorite part🍦😋 &&& daughter found all of her favorite old school candies.

I don't get it. There are a few items in here (quite a few, really) that you can't easily get anywhere outside of the internet, but do you want them anyway? Sugary *actual* worms? Spicy ants? 5 pound gummi bear for $40? Which brings up the prices - wow. By the pound it's not that insane, but the individual items are really bordering on ridiculous - 0.85oz of cotton candy - 25 grams of NON FRESH cotton candy in a little tub - was $7. Just silly.
