  • A beautifully curated museum, off the main st of town. Very cozy and cute spot to see some local and global artists.

  • The museum has some interesting salt and fresh water presentations. Our favorite was the beluga whales.

  • This is truly a wonderful museum. We went to see the exhibit of Norman Rockwell's Post covers. It was just wonderful and we spent two hours looking at the over two hundred covers. It was so interesting to see how Rockwell's art evolved over the years. Above the covers there is a timeline of important events and you get an insight as to what inspired him. Well worth a trip, don't miss it. Plus walking around Mystic is always a treat and we were there when the historic draw bridge opened - so fun!
  • This is such a pretty art gallery that is free to the public, unless you park your car in the parking area, then you have to pay a small fee. It doesn't really have a feel of a "museum" since a lot of the pieces are for sale. There are however several pieces that are permanent (NFS) and some that are on loan. A staff member who was very friendly and helpful said that the gallery changes the exhibit every six months. My favorite piece was the polar bear sculpture and that unfortunately is one of the permanent pieces in the gallery. I would come here again in the future to see what other kind of art is put on display.
  • I really enjoyed the Mystic Museum of Art. The artwork was interesting. I especially liked Paul White's paintings. The museum had a lot of interesting paintings from many different art periods.
  • We went to see lighting boat parade in the river. It was good. However, They could have some music like Christmas carols to feel it in better way
  • Such a lovely museum.
