I have been coming to the island for a long time and somehow had never even heard of this truly very interesting spot. Nice grounds to sit and relax or picnic (not sure that's allowed). For a small place, there is a lot to contemplate and look at. Easy walk from downtown, with really enthusiastic and informative guides. Definitely recommended.

Very excellent...a slice of history if you know the real story of Paul Revere, it is not like the poem. They won't tell it but that is ok, i guess. The tower is there where the lanterns were shown. Go and see and feel history. 1 if by land, 2 if by sea
