  • Perhaps I am spoiled by southern beaches but you drive down a narrow, very rutted dirt road to get to the beach. You park along the road (no parking lot), there are no bathrooms, no showers...

  • I had read it was perfect for sunset and it certainly was. Even in November. Even saw a seal popping his head in and out of the water.

  • Beautiful island and clean beach. Madaket waves can be a bit rough so not ideal for families! Otherwise, it is very peaceful here
  • Madaket Beach is a very natural feeling beach with rougher waves than some of the others. The sky and water get so pretty around sun set! Be aware of the tides because the water splits the beach when its high. The walk out to Smith's Point is so cool and there are hundreds of seagulls along the way. At the end you can see Tuckernuck Island! The fishing is pretty good too!
  • Nice beach even in March. It was a cold windy day but it was nice. If it's too cold just stay in the car, you still can spend great winter Nuntucket experience.
  • Best beach ive ever been on! People from all over come to this beach for the sunsets. Well worth it!
  • It's late Oct, so hardly anyone there. Went at end of day to watch the sunset. Nice, white sand. Very clean. Peaceful.
