  • A lovely walk. In late October, very quiet. But a warm sunny day. Met two other people. Houses mostly closed for the season.

  • Nice little walk thru people back yards. The house were very nice and beautiful on the white patio road. Once on the dirt path, the rest are pretty much the same. I would turn around and enjoy the rest of the very small town. Unless, you want to see the lighthouse, then keep going or use the main road to walk faster.
  • Beautiful pathway and generous homeowners that let the walk way pass through. There was even a Sconset library drop off and pick up along the way!
  • This walk is a little strange walking through everyone's backyard but is also amazing offering up great views of the ocean, beach an grand cliff side homes. The walk took me about an hour to get from the bus stop to the Lighthouse, taking my time and about the same on the return. I think the bluff walk is a mile and a half one way with another half mile to the Lighthouse. Some people seem to be real engaging with painted shells that interact with jokes and invitations down their stairs while others have "private" signs up. Try to be respectful and appreciate this access to great views!
  • 15 minute $2 bus ride from historic Nantucket Town Center. Beautiful walk behind carefully landscaped classic New England Style homes on one side, and beautiful beach and ocean the other. Very tranquil and inspiring.
  • Incredibly easy to miss the entrance, but if you find it, definitely take it. Rabbits abound on it and you can get some amazing views. However you will feel like you’re walking through people’s backyards and trespassing (despite this legally being here since the 1890s).
