LIttle Brown Church in the Vale, Nashua

Easy to find, neat history. Right next to another tourist attraction (Pioneer Village). There is a little prayer garden out back, restrooms, handicap accessible parking. Fun to ring the bell! Lots of history to read inside. Souvenirs available for purchase, plus old bulletins you can just have.

Found this little hidden photo gem due to a brown sign on the freeway. Since I had been driving for a couple of hours I decided to drive the 3-miles an visit The Little Brown Church. It is a beautiful church that was built in 1860 and come to find out is the subject of the song "Little Brown Church in the Vale. I stopped for a few quick photos and found that the church was unlock and I was able to visit the very pretty sanctuary of this little country church. If you are in the area I highly recommend making the short drive for a quick photo stop at the very least.

Beautiful historic church. The history behind the church is something the reverend is very proud about, for that I am glad. My best friend had his wedding here and it was a service to remember. Highly recommend you visit! Whether it be a service or a wedding it’s sure to make you glad you stopped.

Worth a quick stop. Great bathrooms and the pit toilets are amazing! Ring the 160 year old bell, gently.
