  • My family and I had the best time at Gator Country LA Alligator Park! All of the employees we’re so nice and excited to show us all of the animals! Sam was so knowledgeable and took great care in handling the animals! My favorite part was the swamp tour! Leo was so kind and made us feel so safe! He even offered to take a family photo for us! The tours are private so that you get the best experience possible. This was way better than having to go with a large group of people that we didn’t know! We went on a Wednesday and there was plenty to do for a few hours without having to wait in any long lines! If you are nearby, then I definitely recommending stopping in to this cool attraction!
  • Stopped here on an 8+ hour road trip. Saw it on Google maps, asked the kids if they wanted to hold an alligator and they screamed yes! We had the BEST time. We live in the desert so we obviously don't have gators. The whole family enjoyed this experience. There was so much to see and do and the very kind and friendly owner said they had plans for more exhibits and things to do, maybe even a splash pad some day. The staff was extremely friendly and kind. They offered to take animals out to let my kids hold with no hesitation. Plan this stop into your travels, you won't be disappointed.
  • Fantastic stop that is worth the detour. A short 1 hr south of Shreveport / Bossier, this is a fantastic place to spend a few hours. Reasonable pricing, great experience seeing the variety of animals. Alligators, Snakes, lizards, Guinea Pigs, turkeys, Emu, rabbits, tortoise, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, deer, (I’m sure there are a few more I missed). For a family of 4 expect to spend about $50-$60 and have a good time with the kids.
  • Where do I begin reviewing this place....it's so amazing, it's hard to find the words! The park managers, Leo and Candace, talk to you like you are old friends. Josh and Sam wave to you and make sure you are having fun. Jake knows everything about EVERYTHING and will answer any questions you can think of. The feeding show is a must! You get to see Big Lou JUMP out of the water for his snack. Jake entertains you with his knowledge and jokes while the gators eat. The rest of the park is full of memories waiting to be made: feed the gators with a fishing pole, catch a baby gator in the wading pond, feed the giant tortoises, pet the goats, hold a snake, watch the raccoons play, and so much more. Please don't miss out on the amazing boat ride down the bayou, it's absolutely gorgeous and unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back here, HIGHLY recommend! Thank you Gator Country for giving my family a day we will never forget!
  • An experience for not very much dollars!!!! This was a random find and never heard of them. Found them on Google with good reviews and stopped by. The location is out in the middle of nowhere and it seemed that way when driving there. Admission is very affordable. Nice gift shop. Restrooms could use some housekeeping with the smell and flies, lol. The gators were awesome and very photogenic, not by choice of course. Small petting zoo with goats, turtles, emus and guinea pigs. They have a small glass enclosure with small critters and reptiles. The gator theater is awesome with a nice view of the marsh and dozens of gators on standby to eat you, lol. However I did not get the chance to watch a live feeding, not sure what the schedule for live feedings are?
