Natural Bridge Park, Natural Bridge

Such a beautiful fun place to go! The fee is only $3.50 and the bridge is only about 100 yards away from the check in area. There is an additional optional 3/4 mile hike that goes past the bridge and explores a ton of other natural features further up the canyon with some caves, small waterfalls and a nice creek. Honestly a super beautiful place, and I will definitely come back another time. If you are in to geology, this place is a must see. So many amazing things to see.

Absolutely stunning place! We did the trail portion and it definitely added to our experience -- just gorgeous. It is super buggy, so bring spray! It was also good to go on a weekday as it wasn’t busy at all - we walked/hiked the whole trail alone and only saw a few people at the gift shop. The gift shop was really cute! Overall, it was a hidden gem in Alabama!

This is our second visit to Natural Bridge and it’s got to be the best deal for $3.50 for sightseeing in 100 miles! The bridge and cave is beautiful. The gift shop is funky, old fashioned and fun. The trail after the bridge is nice. The trail closest to the bridge has two trees down across the path, but if you take the further out path, you can walk a nice 1 mile loop trail. This is not a handicap accessible trail, lots of roots, rocky steps and bridges raised higher than a normal step, but it’s a lovely walk in the woods following a small creek with little waterfalls along the way. Very serene and beautiful place. Nice leisurely hike on varied terrain. The rock formations, cavern like landscapes, creeks and trees can take your mind back through time imaging the generations and cultures that may have been there before. Great place for a family activity, couples or just to find some individual peace.

I wasn’t prepared for quite how beautiful this park is. You can walk directly to the bridge or walk around a trail. The trail should take 45 min but it was so beautiful and we stopped to look at everything so we stretched our visit out to like 2 hours. Nice spot for a picnic after.
