My favorite local place for an easy hike that’s pet friendly. Great on a hot day because you can walk in or dip your feet in the creek. As a rock hunting fan, it was exciting because there was tons of quartz and other rocks and debris left over from when there was a forge at the park.

Did Sobers Run loop. Easy trail , mostly level. Not a lot of people the day we went. Was very buggy. Trail not adequately marked. Had to use All Trails navigation to stay in the trail. It is a nice hike.

Beautiful area!!! The walking trail was great and there was a lot of happy dogs!!! This is also a good place for fishing.

Beautiful park and the center was very helpful in answering my questions. If you are into history, there is a trail with historical buildings. A nice creek and also horse trails.

I love this place for it's trails. Some trails are for you to walk with your dog, bike riding and other trails are for horse riding. Stunning rock formations by the water aside from seeing the Jacobsburg homes and reading their story while walking the trails. While you are walking you can get a feeling of how it was living there in those times. Interesting.... Some animals & beautiful birds in these trails. 👍👍👍 Bathrooms and parking available.
