Sad to hear from the Gallery that Jamie has died. He was such a part of New Orleans, and I will treasure some of the pieces I've purchased there over the years.

Stopped by now former, location. Only to be advised of this creatively suggestive, talented Artist’s passing... May he be now free to soar as he did in his earthly artistry.

The gallery has closed permanently as of May 2019. Jamie passed away shortly thereafter. I believe the website is still up and running. The family is still selling his art pieces. RIP Jamie.

The gallery was stunning but the staff was as beautiful in personality as the artwork. GREAT prices, every person who visits New Orleans should stop here. Prints with original signatures are very inexpensive, you can find a piece of new Orleans history even if the budget only allows a few dollars to spend.

After living in Baton Rouge for 5 years and visiting NOLA regularly, I came back for a visit. So happy to find this gallery still there. The art is lovely, but my absolute favorite part of the store are their small voodoo dolls and animals. They are one of a kind and I have seen nothing like them anywhere else! I get them as gifts and people love them!

Was lucky to meet Jamie. We purchased a print, he chatted with us and showed us a an original very detailed hand carved piece, on a sliver of elephant tusk. Amazing detail. Very comfortable shop and great art.

A friend told me about the gallery so we made sure to check it out when we were there over Thanksgiving. I tell everyone I know that's going to New Orleans they have to go, amazing wonderful place. I love the art and the staff is phenomenal. We had our fundraiser for our humane society, I had to order some dog and cat pictures for our silent auction. They were a giant hit, I had the opportunity to tell people the background of the prints. I want to thank the gallery for providing a free print for our cause. I'm sure that if any of these people are in New Orleans they'll be visiting the gallery. Thank you again.

Happened to be walking down St Charles St and stopped in. Wow! Very cool! Had a chance to speak with Jamie and his son. Ended up buying a framed print...poster...and the book which Jamie signed. Can’t wait to get home and get this placed in my office. It looked as if he will be retiring soon so if your in the area take a look. Ps—yes Jamie the Natchez was definitely worth it! That pipe organ was blazing a tune.
