  • We went for someplace different to walk. It was gray outside, no flowers or trees blooming yet. We were just irritated that they would charge full price to walk the paths this time of year. Nothing...

  • I think it's terrible that you have to pay to enjoy nature. Dodge is a beautiful place but should be free to everyone.

  • We came here with a master gardener who helps maintain one special area. She was a good tour guide. There is too much to absorb in one visit. For the nature lover, it should not be missed.

  • My son treated me to an afternoon visit to the Aboretum, and I was very happy to see it again, since I hadn't visit since I was in high school in the early 80's. Dawes is, I'm very glad to say, every bit as beautiful now as it was then. It wasn't overcrowded, and the people that were enjoying the park along with us were very kind in helping to find certain areas. The gift shop was nice and clean, the staff nice to talk with, and the whole afternoon was just amazing. One thing I would suggest is a pond algae cleaner added to the pond in the Japanese garden.
  • Worth every penny for the day ($10) or year ($40). I recently visited for the first time during the Avian Aviators exhibit. All the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The abundance of plant species was impressive. This place is a true gem. I will absolutely be back.
  • Gorgeous place! Even this early in Spring there was a lot to see. I ended up buying a pass and plan on going back numerous times. You can take the whole day and walk through everything or you can drive your car through a lot of it however if you do the latter you will miss out on a lot.
  • This is such an amazing green pocket outside of Columbus! There are many wonderful plants and flowers to gaze at. Some trails are quite short and easy to walk, but there are a few tracks that are over a mile if that is what you are looking for. There is plenty of comfortable seating, so you can take a break and look at the gorgeous landscape or the bubbling fountain in the pond. I would definitely recommend this place for families due to the easy trails dedicated for kids. Overall, a wonderful place. I hope to return again.
  • The Dawes Arboretum is a cool place to wander around. They have lots of trails and nature to enjoy. The Dawes family home tour is worth the time and the investment. Make sure you climb the observation tower. It is awesome.
