  • We very much enjoyed the facility and talking to the Oswald family! It was a beautiful Fall day, and crowds were slim so it was easy to get around. And we are retired adults who just enjoyed...

  • An absolutely astonishing wild life exhibit in New Berry Michigan. My family and I stopped here on our way to the Tahquamenon Falls and it was one of the best decisions we could make. You know the bears are very well taken care of by the hard working and charismatic staff and family here. Our family photo with the baby bear was my absolute favorite, without a doubt! I would recommend bringing a carrier for a baby rather than a stroller as the sandy paths were sometimes hard to walk comfortably through- well worth your time though! Not to mention, I lost one of my duffel bags here and their amazing staff got back to me within the next day in order to ship it back to me. I will always have a soft spot for this place now. Thank you Jules! You are lovely❤️
  • Do yourself a favor and visit this bear ranch! Our visit was perfect, pictures with a cub and feeding the grown bears. You can purchase some cut apples on the property (No Outside Food) and feed them to the bears. They LOVE the apples. There are viewing platforms but you can also toss the apples right over the fence. Take a walk around some of the enclosures, they are very large. You'll see the bears have plenty of space to roam around and privacy if wanted. You may see more bears in their swimming areas or hidden in the shade. The people working here were very friendly and obviously care for the animals.
  • What an amazing experience!! The bears were beautiful and so happy!! They loved the apples and the cubs were bouncing around and def enjoying their life!! Being able to get a picture with a cub was so cool!! The staff was very nice and helpful!! Huge place!! Make sure to have bug spray lol
  • We were really looking forward to this. There are so many bears and they were pretty active. I recommend forking over the $4 for apples to feed them. They seem “trained”and perform if there are apples involved. The paths are just dirt and not level. So not ideal for anyone with balance issues or using walkers or wheelchairs. Overall, I’m glad we went.
  • Great experience at Oswald's Bear Ranch. The bears were pretty active and seemed to have quite a bit of space to roam around. The cubs and yearlings we're rambunctious, wrestling around with each other and climbing all over. $25 per car, but it goes to help the bears, so it is worth it. An additional $10 for a chance to feed and pet a cub which my daughters loved. Going earlier in the day will help with the bear feeding as they had to rush to get everyone through when we went, since the bears weren't as hungry anymore.
