  • Excellent museum showing our military history through the years, with a focus on Maryland veterans and locations. Really good collection of artifacts from the arecolution to present day. Highly recommend a visit. They sometimes have events amd talks here and well worth attending.
  • This is a hidden gem right here in southern Maryland. There are so many things to look at and learn about that you could come back multiple times and see and learn new things each time. What a wonderful place full of American pride and it made me so grateful for those that fought for our country and made the ultimate sacrifice.
  • I haven't been here in two yrs but pass it every few weekends. I love the inside, there is so much Memorabilia from many years ago, the dress the clothing they wore, history of the War an much more.. my grandson had or has a stamp he drew in school that was displayed there.. very proud Grandmother
  • The size is deceptive; once you're inside, you start to realize that it is much larger than what you could see from the road. Very impressive; dioramas are very well done. The volunteer staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The souvenir shop has a surprisingly varied selection of plastic models, many of which are not found in the usual hobbyist shop.
  • Had our 50+2 year high school reunion here. Museum wasn't open as it was after hours, but they have a very nice meeting/banquet room in front. A good time was had by all!!!
