Pride of the Hudson, Newburgh

It was a perfect day other than that it was a little chilly. We simply bundled up. There was Beautiful view along the Hudson River, with the leaves are changing colors. Staffs are super friendly. There are lots of outside seats in the front of the ship. You can order food and drink onboard too and sit inside snd enjoy them. Or you can sit on the top deck. Best of all, my boyfriend proposed to me on the cruise! What a great surprise 😊 And Yes, I said yes☺️

Check out this boat ride if you're in the area. Easy to buy tickets online and show on your phone. When you arrive in the parking lot, the boat is directly on the left. If you get to the ferry, you're too far. Sit on the front of the boat for plenty of seating. Great views of the castle from the river. History of the area and West Point is given on the tour too.

Nice boat ride and to hear the history. Be aware it's cash only for drinks/food onboard. Parking lot could be better marked.

Think of it like the NYC Circle line, but for the Hudson Valley. Friendly staff & family owned. Food & drinks are affordable but they only accept cash. Boat is real old but seaworthy.

We had a large group (9 in total) and were able to get a table inside (air conditioned) for my 91 year old Mom who could see the sights along the Hudson. A majority of us were free to move around the boat to the front of the boat to the top as well so you didn't have to stay in one spot which was great as well. The crew was very knowledgeable and very pleasant and helpful with our Mom - we especially loved our bartender who worked the inside bar - she was the best! I would totally recommend this for anyone wanting to have a fun time with friends and/or family.
