  • This is a review of the tour of the building (since I have not attended Sunday services there I cannot comment on them). The historical tour with Jerry was a true treat. We came because we had an interest in seeing the place where the famous preacher George Whitfield was buried, but the tour exceeded our expectation. We were able to learn about the building, Benjamin Franklin and Paul Revere, and (of course) George Whitfield.
  • We visited this meeting house and had a very nice tour with Mr Mullins. He took us up to the top of the bell tower and the view was amazing. It was similar to being thrown back into time to hear about George Whitfield and his enduring faith. I was sad to hear however he was a slave owner and even had a section for slaves in the back of the fellowship. It’s not mentioned a head of time but their is a $5.00 tour fee. I wouldn’t recommend attending the service however, just the tour. They have a female “Pastor” now and it’s a liberal form of Presbyterians
  • A hidden gem for history lovers. My wife and I took a tour with Jerry on a Saturday afternoon--one of the best historical tours we've ever done. The church is famous for being the tomb of the evangelist George Whitefield who died in 1770. But the tour showed much more than just Whitefield curiosities. The Paul Revere bell, 86ft above the street, gave absolutely stunning views of Newburyport. The trompe l'oeil ceilings are not to be missed.
  • Somehow I feel I've been to this church, knowing I have never been to Massachusetts. God bless Old south Presbyterian Church.
  • It is a very historical church that dates back to the beginning of the country. They give nice tours.
