  • First time since Newburyport is usually so crowded you can't easily make it over to Plum Island... so glad the wind didn't stop us. What views! Pristine beaches, doggos allowed on the beach in Feb. which was windy but a shockingly beautiful 60 degrees!
  • Nice sandy beaches with ample parking (though not at Sandy Neck), well-maintained trails both in the dunes and in the marshland. Good for cycling until Hellcat, then a gravel road that can be very rocky when dry. Sandy Neck is a great sunset spot. Greenhead horse-flies peak in late July.
  • The waves were HUGE, The biggest I've ever seen in any beach in all of New England. But a very clean beach, nice sand to walk on and didn't hurt your feet at all.
  • This a beautiful place for beach and fishing! The beach is clean and good for bass fishing! It has plenty of parking space. The parking fee is 5$ only! I will visit the places more often!
  • Absolutely perfect beach! $5 to enter the road that takes you to multiple beaches and dedicated parking lots. Beautiful protected dunes and great place to birdwatch piping plovers and gulls. Sand is mostly soft with some more coarse patches. Water was cold but warmest peak summer.
