Newport's Historic Bayfront, Newport

This place has such an amazing collection of shops and restaurants, am somewhat disappointed I didn't get to go to all of them. Has something I've never seen anywhere else: a dock surrounded by barking sea lions at all hours of the day. Was insanely cute and fascinating. Many of the buildings also have beautiful murals painted on the sides, all marine life themed. The view of the water, pier, and bridge is stunning from here, and you get to see all of the ships and things coming by less than a stone's throw away

Nice place to window shop and get a bit to eat. Check out the seal dock to see the sea lions sleeping and swimming around the docks. Good fresh sea food restaurants and candy/ice cream shops if you need something sweet! Beautiful view of the bay and the bridge from the docs.

The Newport Historic Bayfront is a great way to experience Newport and take in all the scenery. Multiple places to walk and explore. It seems to always be a busy place. Watching the Sea Lions never gets old. The water is always a peaceful place to be! Check out the pot shops first for the best experience 👍

An amazing and historic place to visit in Newport and experience its beauty. Have a walk around the Bayfront and enjoy its beauty. One can shop also in different shops around and can see and hear Sea Lion.

Actually shop fresh fish right from the boat. Watch the sea lions fight amongst each other on the docks, was great humor. Lots of great places to eat, especially the historic Mo's, make sure to try their famous clam chowder. Stop by bohemian candle and pick up some home made incense or candles. They also have a lot of beautiful hand made jewelry and fashion. Make sure to hit up Ripley's believe it or not Lots of fun things to see there. Definitely a place you could spend hours just walking around. Make sure to pick up some salt water taffy at any of the various candy shops on the path. Lots of fun for the family, even a night life for the adults.
