Gansett Cruises, Newport

We have visited Newport many times but this was our first cruise. Really enjoyed it! Bo was a great tour guide. Well worth it for an 1 1/2 hour tour of the harbor and part of Narragansett Bay up to the Jamestown Bridge. Sat up top with unobstructed views, saw many lighthouses, beautiful mansions, yachts and learned quite a bit of local history. Don’t miss it!

Walked down this morning just to check it out and find it’s location, but ended up taking the 11:30 tour! Most people were on top, so there was plenty of room in the back. Got my free orange juice (wish they had offered the lemonade). Was very informative and answered all questions asked. Very friendly and even did some joking. Made you feel very comfortable and relaxed. The cruise was just the right amount of time. Got to see what I believe they called the New York Yacht Club racing sailboats, which apparently was a rare experience. Very satisfied with the whole experience!

Tour guide was funny and very knowledgeable of the history of the area toured. The entire crew were very friendly and fun to talk with. The cruise was very smooth. Can't wait to go again! The complmentary coffee cabinet was great too!

Took the Gansett Cruise boat tour the morning before a friends' wedding, and it was the perfect "field trip" activity for a group for of us to get up and moving in the morning and see the sights. The waitstaff was prompt, serving Narragansett beers, mimoas and also liquor drinks. Highly recommend!

The boat was a nice size, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very fun. Very informative with the history of the area. I would defiantly be taking another trip from them again. Here are some photos from my sunset cruise with them. Such a great night. Glad I found them.
